Welcome to the official website of the Borough of Highspire, Highspire Pennsylvania. We are located in Dauphin County just 6 miles south of Harrisburg. The 2010 Census recorded the Borough's population at 2,399 residents. We invite you to visit our friendly community and enjoy our small town atmosphere.

 

ATTENTION RESIDENTS

Although the Municipal Building is still open, the front lobby is closed to the public until further notice.

If you need to make a sewer payment, please place your payment in the drop box to the right of the doors.  A receipt will then be mailed to you.  You can also mail in your payment or pay online.

If you have any questions or need to speak with the office staff, have a delivery or need a building permit please call 717-939-3303.

Memorial Park will be closed until further notice.  The concession stand will remain open to provide student lunches.

The following locations will have food drops for students 18 and under:

Memorial Park Concession Stand - Highspire

Mount Zion (2nd & Locust) - Steelton

New Hope - (2nd & Mohn) - Steelton

Park @ 4th & P Street - Steelton (East End)

The next day's breakfast will be issued with lunch.  Bags will contain perishables so they will need to be refrigerated.

 

Due to the Coronavirus the following meetings and events have been cancelled or postponed...  March 28th - Bake-Off & Craft Fair - postponed until further notice.

April 1st - The Highspire Borough Civil Service Commission meeting has been cancelled and rescheduled for July 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. 

April 4th - Easter Egg Hunt - cancelled and will not be rescheduled. 

April 26th - Arbor Day Celebration - postponed until further notice.

Purchase your Dog License Online

Highspire residents can now log onto PADogLicense.com to purchase dog licenses through this secure site using their credit card, debit card, or checking account. Dog owners who register their dogs through the online site will be able to print a paper license immediately. The numbered metal tag will be mailed to the dog owner a few days following the online purchase. Licenses run with the calendar year and must be renewed annually. Lifetime licenses are also available but must be purchased directly from the Treasurer's Office.
